World of Warships
World of Warships Description
World of Warships is a MMO that features battles between different teams of players. This game offers a wide variety of ships to choose from and requires players to rearm their ships as battles continue. Players earn rewards based upon their success and time playing the game.
World of Warships provides excellent maritime maps so that the players can plan their attack strategies. The maps allow players to adjust them for battle results and ship locations. All graphics are 3D and are mostly in battleship grey for obvious reasons. Players must also adapt to changing weather conditions such as fog, violent storms and various islands at sea that a ship can hide behind. Sometimes, depending on the internet battle results can be a bit show to appear on the screen.
World of Warships is made by Wargaming, and is part of a series of War MMOs. Players can try Wargaming’s World of Tanks and World of Warplanes. System requirements to play the game include Vista 7 or Windows XP or higher, a 2.2 GHz processor or better, 2 GB of RAM, and at least 20 GB free space on your hard disk. Video cards should be at the level of GeForce 8600GT or ATI HD 2600 for the best video results.
This is the same game that was originally beta tested in 2012 as World of Battleships. Feedback from the beta users included the desire to have a greater variety of ships to man. This lead to the new name and concept, World of Warships. The game as yet does not include any submarine attacks to worry about.
